Ron Schmidt: Ron's love of photography started with an old Yoshika that his Uncle Russ gave him for Christmas. His first photo shoot at age 7 was a wildlife exploration around his suburban New Jersey neighborhood. That day, he took his first animal photos - of city squirrels and of his dog, Nicki. "At times I am still that boy peering through my lens at a dog, waiting to capture that perfect moment on film - but now, I have a way better camera!" Tina Poochino:
One day you may be out walking your dog when a woman with a camera approaches you and begins to interview your pup.
Artist Tina Poochino is always on the look out for fresh faces with wet noses. "Dogs are terrific subjects to photograph,
each one is as unique and unpredictable as their human companions. My pictures are a way of imagining them on their very
best or worst days and in situations reflecting their dreams and ours."
Tina Poochino lives and works in upstate New York as a designer and photographer.
